The HKB sees itself as a space in-between: between campuses, between disciplines, between positions. Exchange is encouraged and supported in many ways. Not only among the students of different Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes through the interdisciplinary studies of the Y Institute, but also between research and teaching, between pre-university and doctoral studies. What all these spaces in-between have in common is the focus on individual support. In this sense the HKB is primarily a free space waiting to be designed by you.
